What is the Experience?

Interested in learning French from an expert native speaker, in a small class environment, with other interesting people. Then this could be the perfect way to learn to speak French quickly and confidently and you'll feel hugely satisfied after mastering your first foreign conversation!

During this 10 week course, you will learn basic vocabulary and practice conversing in French. By covering a range of topics, this course will prepare you for your travels to French speaking countries as well as provide a foundation for the more serious learner wanting to study our more advanced courses.

With our unique interactive method of teaching, developed over years of reflection and our understanding of language learning methods, you’ll learn French as you learnt English – through practice and continuous communication. Our classes include a mix of tasks and activities: communicative and interactive, grammatical and cultural. We will truly immerse you in the French language and culture.

The following is a guide to topics covered (although this might change, depending on student requirements).

Lesson 1 - Greetings, Alphabet, Numbers, Pronunciation,

Lesson 2 - Introducing oneself, Nationality and profession, Introducing someone, the family,

Lesson 3 - To be / to have, Days of the week, Months / the calendar, Age,

Lesson 4 - Asking a simple question, Answering,

Lesson 5 - Speaking about oneself, Food, Tastes / preferences,

Lesson 6 - At the restaurant, Italian menu, Booking a table and ordering,

Lesson 7 - What time is it? Making an appointment on the phone,

Lesson 8 - Body parts, Going to the doctor,

Lesson 9 - Asking for directions, Names of shops,

Lesson 10 - Shopping, Clothes, Review.

Session Length

The program includes 10 x 1.5 hour sessions, run over a 10 week period. Please note that spaces are limited so it's important to book your place early.
